PPO Health Insurance
PPO health insurance is similiar to a HMO health insurance policy with the exception that in a PPO place, consumers are able to go to anyone outside the healthcare network and will be covered. Granted, by going outside the network, the out of pocket cost will be a bit higher than if you had went to a in network health provider.
Just like the HMO plan, a PPO plan requires you to pay a monthly fee. The cost can range from a little over a hundred for a single person to almost $1,000 for a family of four.
